Early Careers
We’re committed to growing and nurturing our own talent – as well as offering opportunities for our current people to progress their careers, we also open up opportunities to recruit new people that are early in their careers and help them to develop through structured learning programmes.
Apprenticeship Opportunities
An apprenticeship is a great way to learn new skills and gain experience in real-world environments, building a career whilst earning a salary. Our wide range of apprenticeship opportunities in both clinical and non-clinical areas are suitable for school or college leavers, university graduates or anyone looking to make a career change, starting at entry-level 3 right up to our degree apprenticeships at Level 6. These include but are not limited to:
Clinical
Diagnostic Radiographer
Healthcare Assistant
Audiologist
Mammographer
Nursing & Assistant Practitioner
Non-Clinical
Finance & Accounting
Procurement
Human Resources
Leadership & Management
Information Technology
We partner with recognised providers on all of our apprenticeships including the University of the West of England, Anglian Ruskin University and the University of London St Georges amongst others.
We also aim to add value to our programmes by going beyond the core requirements, including supplementing learning with internal tutorial sessions on specific topics delivered by subject matter experts and facilitating personal development sessions using tools like Insights Discovery.
All current apprenticeship vacancies are advertised in the ‘All Jobs’ section of our careers page with further details including overviews and entry criteria.
Existing employees can contact a member of the Talent Development Team for further details on our apprenticeship programmes.
Non-existing employees are welcome to register their interest in any of our apprenticeship programmes.
Graduate Opportunities
Our unique Emerging Talent programme is ideal for qualified radiographers who want to specialise in MRI, to fast track their career while still earning a salary. This Society and College of Radiographers approved programme gives you hands-on, clinical experience with the UK’s largest provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions.
The programme consists of a blend of on-the-job learning in a variety of clinical settings, supported by high-quality classroom learning away from the pressures of a clinical environment. It is competency-led to ensure that radiographers become more proficient in performing routine imaging relevant to their practice. The duration of the course depends on your own pace.
